that want to contain part deviation.

• Setting up APC can identify and contain short shots that arise every day.

• APC can be used to contain parts due to variation in cavity pressure, which can be directly associated to part weight.

• ZIPPS can establish APC to automatically displace suspect product with a robot, part diverter or reversing conveyor.

• Cavity pressure equipment is used to measure the pressure inside the mold to determine if there is variation in the product. If variation exists then the product can be displaced to a reviewing area to be sorted or reworked.
