Advance class for ZIPPS
is on the injection
molding
floor evaluating and
optimizing processes. |

- This portion of the
training concentrates on
teaching participants a hands-on
approach with the injection
molding machines in your
facility.
|
|
|
|
- Students get a chance to
apply what they have learned
throughout the training sessions
and optimize some of the
existing processes in their own
facility.

|
|
- Typically this portion of
the training shows great returns
on your training dollar by
achieving and documenting cycle
time reduction, part weight
savings and scrap reduction on
existing processes. (Dependent
on Press time allotted for
training class)

|
- If press time is
unavailable then an Injection
Molding simulator will be used.
|
|
|
|
- Students will as a group
set up a Decouple I, Decouple
II, and Decouple III molding
process and document the cost savings
from their floor
exercises.
